Chairpark Brings Six High-End Ergonomic Chairs to Seoul Living Design Fair 2026

Of all the tools and objects we interact with daily, few have as much sustained contact with our bodies as the chair we sit in. Yet chairs are often treated as mere interior décor, when in reality they play a direct role in our focus, comfort, and quality of life throughout the workday.

Chairpark, a Seoul-based premium office chair retailer with over 25 years of expertise in curating high-end imported seating, is bringing that philosophy to this year's Seoul Living Design Fair. The company will showcase six flagship ergonomic chairs from four world-class manufacturers—including one model making its Korean debut.

A Rare Opportunity to Compare High-End Chairs in One Place

Since 2001, Chairpark has built a reputation among discerning buyers as Korea's only specialist showroom where you can sit in, test, and compare multiple world-renowned ergonomic chair brands side-by-side. The store has become something of a pilgrimage site for those serious about seating—including actors, musicians, and design professionals who make the trip to experience the chairs in person.

At the Seoul Living Design Fair, held at COEX in late February 2026, Chairpark will condense that experience into booth B-620, where visitors can try six carefully selected models that represent different ergonomic philosophies and design approaches.

Six Chairs Worth the Visit

Each of the chairs on display has been chosen for its distinctive engineering, support system, and approach to how the body moves and rests during prolonged sitting.

Okamura Contessa II

The Okamura Contessa II has gained celebrity endorsement in Korea—a well-known female singer personally selected this model for her workspace. Beneath its elegant, flowing lines lies sophisticated engineering that sets a high bar for premium office seating.

Itoki ACT2

The Itoki ACT2 is designed to respond fluidly to working postures, offering seamless support that adapts as you shift throughout the day.

Kokuyo Ing Series (Ing, Ing Life, Ing Cloud)

Kokuyo's Ing family uses a 360-degree gliding mechanism that encourages natural, dynamic movement while seated. The star of the Chairpark booth will be the brand-new Kokuyo Ing Cloud, launched in Japan in December 2025 and making its Korean debut at this fair.

Ing Cloud is the top-tier model in the Ing lineup, featuring smoother and more substantial gliding action than its predecessors, an adjustable headrest, and a refined lumbar support design that enhances the chair's ergonomic performance.

Generation by Knoll

Generation by Knoll is engineered to adapt to however you choose to sit—leaning, twisting, reclining—making it especially well-suited to creative, non-linear workflows and collaborative work styles.

Finding the Chairpark Booth at COEX

Chairpark will be located at booth B-620 in Hall B. Here's how to get there without getting lost:

  • From the A–B Hall connector: Turn left and follow the wall all the way down

  • From the Hall B entrance: Walk straight toward the opposite wall, then continue to the far end

Chairpark recommends visiting the booth later in your fair visit—when your legs are tired from walking the exhibition floor. Sinking into one of these meticulously engineered chairs after hours on your feet is, according to the company, the best way to understand what true ergonomic support really feels like.

Why It Matters

Events like the Seoul Living Design Fair offer a rare chance to experience high-end ergonomic seating that isn't widely available in typical furniture showrooms. For anyone investing in long-term comfort, health, and productivity, being able to compare chairs like the Contessa II, ACT2, Ing Cloud, and Generation by Knoll in person is invaluable.

The Seoul Living Design Fair runs for five days in late February 2026 at COEX. If you're serious about seating—or simply curious what a quarter-century of chair curation looks like—booth B-620 is worth the visit.
