What Chairs Can You Try at ChairPark Mapo?

While the Mapo location is compact, it features all of ChairPark's most popular models. Here's what you'll find:

Herman Miller Collection

The showroom features the Herman Miller Aeron—arguably the most iconic office chair in the world. All three sizes (A, B, and C) are available for side-by-side comparison, allowing you to find your perfect fit.

As an authorized Herman Miller distributor in Korea, ChairPark stocks only genuine products, each with a serial number for verification.

Also on display is the Herman Miller x Logitech G Embody Gaming Chair, Herman Miller's second best-selling model. Designed in collaboration with 13 medical professionals, the Embody incorporates more ergonomic features than perhaps any other task chair. Its pixelated seat structure distributes weight to prevent pressure buildup during extended sitting, while copper-infused cooling fabric provides ventilation comparable to mesh. Despite its "gaming" designation, it's an excellent all-purpose chair.

Rounding out the Herman Miller selection is the Herman Miller Cosm, known for its elegant design and currently in use at Tesla headquarters. While feature-light compared to other models, the Cosm provides excellent lumbar support with a refined aesthetic.

Knoll Generation

The Generation by Knoll is used extensively in global corporations like Microsoft. Its distinctive elastomer backrest provides flexible yet firm lumbar support. The vibrant orange colorway on display is particularly striking. If you're open to a headrest-free chair, the Generation is worth serious consideration.

Okamura Chairs

The Okamura Contessa II is a frequent alternative purchase for customers who initially came to see the Aeron. Designed by legendary automotive designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, the Contessa II stands out for its armrest-mounted controls—all adjustments can be made from the end of the armrests without bending down to fumble with under-seat levers.

Both mesh and leather seat versions are on display for comparison.

Also available is the Okamura Sylphy, Okamura's best-selling chair in Japan. Like the Aeron, it features forward tilt functionality, making it ideal for users who lean forward while working or spend significant time on detailed desk tasks.

Itoki ACT2

From Itoki—one of Japan's three major furniture manufacturers with 130 years of history—the Itoki ACT2 embodies the Japanese concept of "omotenashi" (wholehearted hospitality). The result is a chair with an exceptionally welcoming, embracing feel.

Both elastomer and textured mesh versions are available to try. The seat combines fabric and mesh materials, offering the benefits of both. The ACT2 is also the chair of choice at Tokyo's Narita Airport.

Kokuyo Ing

The Kokuyo Ing life chair catches the eye immediately with its cheerful green color and wood accents. Its defining feature is a 360-degree gliding mechanism in the base. Unlike conventional chairs that lock you in place, the Ing's seat tilts gently in all directions—forward, backward, side to side, and diagonally—responding to your micro-movements and keeping your body naturally active while seated.

Steelcase Chairs

ChairPark Mapo also stocks Steelcase's flagship models: the Steelcase Leap V2 and the Steelcase Gesture, both renowned for their advanced ergonomic engineering and wide range of adjustability.
