Steelcase Gesture review

This reviewer tested both the Steelcase Leap V2 and Gesture before making a decision. They found the Gesture's armrests to be more flexible and better suited for different working positions, including tablet use and varied keyboard positions. The Gesture's back support felt more adaptive to different postures. However, they ultimately chose the Leap because its lumbar support was more targeted and adjustable for their specific lower back needs. They found the Gesture's support to be more diffuse across the entire back, which didn't address their particular pain point as effectively.

Pros

  • More flexible armrests than Leap
  • Better for varied working positions
  • Adaptive back support for different postures

Cons

  • Lumbar support less targeted than Leap
  • Back support too diffuse for specific lower back needs
