Steelcase Leap V2 review
This user has a Steelcase Leap V2 at their office and an Embody at home, giving them direct daily comparison experience. They find both chairs excellent but suited to different preferences. The Leap feels more substantial and traditional with its cushioned seat and back, and the lumbar adjustment is very effective. However, they find the Embody's distributed support system to be better for very long sitting sessions of 10+ hours. The Leap is their preference for a standard 8-hour workday, while the Embody excels during marathon work sessions or weekend coding projects. They consider both chairs top-tier and think the choice comes down to personal preference and sitting duration.
Pros
- Substantial and traditional feel
- Cushioned seat and back
- Very effective lumbar adjustment
- Excellent for standard 8-hour workdays
- Top-tier quality
Cons
- Not as good as Embody for 10+ hour sessions
