Herman Miller Embody review
The reviewer just picked up a 2011 Embody yesterday, noting it's obviously very different from a 2026 model but saying it's okay if you can stick to a good sitting position — it's decently comfortable in that case. However, if you sit in any other way, you don't really get the full support the chair is supposed to provide. They are 6'2", 195 lbs, and also have very long legs. Their biggest complaint is that they can feel the corners of the back against their shoulders, which might be encountered as well by the original poster. They ordered an Atlas headrest hoping it will help. Given that Herman Miller charges for both shipping and return shipping, they recommend seeing if you can try it out in person before committing.
