Haworth Fern review
Extremely disappointed with the Haworth Fern after high expectations. The back and digital knit fabric are comfortable with decent lumbar support, but everything else feels cheap and poorly constructed. Broken height lever out of the box, flimsy armrests, loose components, and overall build quality resembling a $300-400 chair despite the premium price.
Pros
- Digital knit back fabric feels great and comfortable
- Adjustable lumbar support works well though feels like a metal rod
- Back support quality is good, comparable to Embody
Cons
- Height adjustment lever was loose or broken out of the box
- Armrests are flimsy, loud, cheap feeling with loose armpads that require constant readjustment
- Limited armrest range forward and backward
- Plastic components and knobs feel very cheap like a budget chair
- Seat depth adjustment slides after clicking into place
- Basic casters and base
- Build quality does not justify the $1200-1600 price point
- Tags sticking out of seat cushion
