Steelcase Amia review
As someone who is 6'3" and 240 pounds, this reviewer was concerned about whether the Amia would accommodate their larger frame, but they've been pleasantly surprised. The chair handles their weight without any issues and doesn't feel strained or creaky like some other chairs they've tried. The seat is wide enough to be comfortable and the back support extends high enough for their torso. They've been using it for about 18 months now with no problems. The only thing they note is that they keep the tension settings on the higher end to properly support their weight, but the adjustment range is sufficient. They specifically appreciate that the arms are sturdy and don't feel flimsy under load.
