Herman Miller Sayl review
The reviewer owned a Herman Miller Sayl for about a year before selling it. They found the back support to be too flexible and lacking in firm lumbar support, which led to poor posture and lower back discomfort during long working sessions. The suspension back, while breathable, didn't provide enough resistance to keep them sitting upright properly. The seat cushion was thin and became uncomfortable after a couple of hours. They also found the Y-tower design of the back to be somewhat gimmicky - it looked interesting but didn't translate to better ergonomics for their needs. The lack of adjustable lumbar support was a significant limitation.

Cons
- Back support too flexible
- Lacked firm lumbar support
- Led to poor posture and lower back discomfort
- Insufficient resistance for proper upright sitting
- Thin, uncomfortable seat cushion
- No adjustable lumbar support
