Steelcase Gesture review

The reviewer used a Steelcase Gesture for approximately 2 years in their office before the company replaced them with different chairs. They found the Gesture to be reasonably comfortable but had concerns about durability. Over the two-year period, they noticed the seat cushion began to show signs of wear and the soft foam started to break down more quickly than they expected for a premium chair. The seat developed permanent compression areas where they sat most frequently, and the cushion didn't retain its shape as well as they hoped. While not terrible, they felt the longevity didn't match the price point.
