Autonomous ErgoChair Pro review
A decade-long Herman Miller Aeron user tested the Autonomous ErgoChair Pro as a guest chair for several weeks. While the ErgoChair offers excellent armrests and adjustability, its mesh quality is inferior, it causes initial pressure points, and is not suitable for larger users (6'5", 260 lbs) due to a lower backrest, inadequate headrest reach, and narrow seat.

Cons
- Mesh quality significantly inferior to Aeron - rougher and stiffer
- Mesh clings to pet hair and difficult to keep clean
- Causes pressure points on backside during initial use
- Not suitable for larger users - backrest sits too low
- Headrest only reaches shoulder blades/lower neck for tall users
- Seat is narrower and doesn't support legs as well as Aeron
- Not comfortable for sessions longer than 3-4 hours
