Steelcase Gesture review

Having tested both the Gesture and the Amia extensively, this commenter chose the Gesture for their home office. They found the Gesture's arms to be far more versatile and better suited to their varied work tasks, including tablet use and writing. The Gesture's back support felt more adaptive to different postures, whereas the Amia felt more locked into one optimal position. For people who sit in very standard, static positions, they think the Amia is great, but for those who shift positions frequently or do diverse tasks, the Gesture is worth the additional cost. The Amia is still a quality chair but felt more restrictive in terms of supported postures.
