LiberNovo Omni review

The reviewer had been using the Libernovo Omni Pro for a few weeks, working from home three days a week. Initially they thought it was just okay, not much different from their old Flaworth Zody, but they never really tested it properly since they got up every 20 minutes or so. Then they were dragged into a 4-hour marathon Zoom call and thought it would only last an hour tops. They stayed put, camera on, leaving their desk warm, started feeling restless and kept switching positions, crossed their legs a bit, had one leg up and second tilt, then third tilt. Somehow they made it through the whole thing with no lower back ache, no mid-back soreness, no butt or thigh pain. The cushion didn't get that flattened-out feeling either. They also had the seat fan on during the meeting and nobody mentioned any noise from it, which was nice because they were a little worried someone would hear it over the call. They note that getting up every 20 minutes is still better for your body, but for those times when you're stuck at the desk and can't move much, the Omni Pro handled it better than they expected.

Pros

  • No lower back ache after 4 hours
  • No mid-back soreness
  • No butt or thigh pain
  • Cushion didn't flatten out
  • Seat fan quiet enough not to be heard on calls
  • Handled long sitting better than expected

Cons

  • Initially seemed just okay, not much different from previous chair
  • Still needed to switch positions during long meeting
