Herman Miller Aeron review
The original poster has been trying expensive chairs in the sub's recommendations, testing them in showrooms and ordering a couple to their home. They've had pretty mixed results overall. The Aeron felt too stiff, with only the armrest working for them in one exact position. The Embody seemed much better but the upper back still felt narrow around their shoulders. They've tried two different seat-to-arms configurations but the seat felt too high and their body felt weird. They're confused about whether they're way too picky or if their body is just built oddly, since these are supposed to be top-tier chairs. They're now looking at Haworth Fern, Liberty/Now Maxis, or other alternatives and wondering what they're missing.
