Herman Miller Mirra 2 review
The commenter tested the Mirra 2 and Amia side-by-side at a dealer and found them quite similar in overall design philosophy but with some notable differences. The Mirra 2's butterfly back felt more breathable and flexible, while the Amia's back felt more traditionally supportive. Both have excellent build quality but the Mirra 2 has a slightly more premium feel to the materials and adjustments. They ended up choosing the Mirra 2 but acknowledge the Amia would have been a great choice as well. The price difference was minimal when comparing similarly configured models. For someone choosing between these two, they recommend trying both if possible as it comes down to personal preference in back support style.
Cons
- Back feels less breathable and flexible than Mirra 2
- Slightly less premium feel to materials than Mirra 2
