Steelcase Gesture review

This user has two Gestures that they got second-hand, and while they're not usually a headrest user, they've been wondering recently how welcome it would be for the very rare occasion when they want to lean back and have some sort of support there. They have definitely given the chair some headrest envy and don't have that sort of support there currently. However, they reached out to Atlas (presumably a headrest manufacturer) and they'd already created a waitlist for the Gesture, so they're now on it. They note that if they received enough interest, Atlas would add it to the waitlist. This suggests they're satisfied enough with the Gesture itself that they're seeking to enhance it rather than replace it.

Pros

  • Good enough that user bought two units
  • Satisfying enough to invest in aftermarket accessories

Cons

  • Lacks built-in headrest for occasional leaning back
  • Missing support for rare occasions when needed
