Steelcase Gesture review
Switched from Secretlab gaming chair to Steelcase Gesture after 3 years. The gaming chair caused neck strain and lumbar support issues. Gesture forces better posture with auto-correction feel, though not immediately 'comfortable'. Seat feels like it pushes user into upright position. Still adjusting to optimal lumbar settings.
Pros
- Forces proper posture correction automatically
- Lumbar support doesn't cause pain like previous chair
- Encourages upright sitting position
- Adjustable settings allow customization
Cons
- Not immediately comfortable, requires adjustment period
- Seat feels somewhat disconnected or loose
- Uncertain about optimal lumbar positioning
- Forces very upright posture that takes getting used to
