Steelcase Leap V2 review

This reviewer is a larger person (six foot three, 250 pounds) who specifically sought out the Leap V2 after reading it could accommodate bigger body types. They've had the chair for about two years and confirm it's been excellent for their size. The seat is wide enough to be comfortable without feeling constrained, and the weight capacity is more than adequate. The adjustments all work well for their taller frame, particularly the seat depth and armrest height. They note that many office chairs are designed for average-sized people and become uncomfortable for larger or taller users, but the Leap V2 genuinely accommodates a range of body types. The cushioning has maintained its support despite their weight. They wish more chairs were designed with this level of size inclusivity.

Pros

  • Accommodates larger body types well
  • Wide, comfortable seat
  • Good weight capacity
