Herman Miller Embody review

This reviewer purchased the chair eight months ago and initially had buyer's remorse due to the high cost and firm seat feel. However, after about six weeks of use, everything clicked and they now consider it one of their best purchases. They report that their chronic lower back pain from sitting has virtually disappeared and they can work full days without the constant discomfort they previously accepted as normal. The adjustment period was real and uncomfortable, and they almost returned it, but they're grateful they stuck with it. They recommend giving the chair at least a month before judging it, as it takes time to adapt to its different approach to support.
