Herman Miller x Logitech G Embody Gaming Chair review
The poster asked their boss to purchase a new office chair after spending over 8 hours daily at work. The boss inquired whether they wanted the Embody or Aeron model. While not an expert, the poster became confused when their boss mentioned seeing an 'Embody gaming chair' and learned that taxes related to a gaming chair for an office (a law firm, btw) could be contested. They understand the point that it's not wrong and people in gaming are sitting the same way, but they can already see some folks from the IRS equivalent asking their boss why a gaming chair is needed for a law firm. The order won't be processed before month-end, so they still have time to convince the boss to change to the regular Embody, which doesn't have any 'gaming' branding anywhere to ensure a safe call. Otherwise there's the Leap version, but with the small odds that things could turn bad with the IRS equivalent, and finally the Aeron which is already used and loved at the office.
Cons
- Gaming branding could raise tax issues with IRS for law firm use
