Steelcase Leap V2 review
The commenter describes their experience after getting a refurbished Leap V2 about a week ago from Crandall. They note the seat is quite firm but don't find it to be the most uncomfortable part. What concerns them more is the back support, which they find insufficient. They believe it's not pushing their hips forward or changing their lumbar contact enough, and the entire back of the chair feels too flat, resulting in a significant gap at the bottom of their mid-back. They've experimented with all the adjustments but haven't found a comfortable sweet spot yet. The chair does have a head rest that tilts and reclines, but overall they're still testing whether it will work for them long-term.
Pros
- Has head rest with tilt and recline
- Multiple adjustment options available
Cons
- Seat is quite firm
- Back support feels insufficient
- Doesn't push hips forward or change lumbar contact adequately
- Entire back feels too flat
- Significant gap at bottom of mid-back
- Difficult to find comfortable position despite adjustments
