Herman Miller Mirra 2 review

A user provides detailed feedback on the Mirra 2, which they've used for 18 months. They selected it as a more affordable Herman Miller option than the Embody or Aeron, and have generally been pleased with the choice. The TriFlex back provides good support and breathability, though it feels more rigid than they expected. The butterfly back adjustment is unique and works well once they figured out the proper settings for their body. The seat comfort is good, with better cushioning than the Aeron's mesh. Build quality is excellent with no issues after heavy daily use. They appreciate the more compact design compared to larger Herman Miller chairs. However, they feel the overall comfort level is a step below the Embody, which they tested extensively before deciding. For the price difference, they're satisfied but acknowledge the Embody would have been worth the extra investment if budget allowed.
