Herman Miller Aeron review
This commenter switched from a Herman Miller Aeron to the Steelcase Leap V2 and provides a detailed comparison. They found the Aeron's mesh seat uncomfortable for their body type, as it created pressure points and didn't provide enough cushioning during long sitting sessions. The hard mesh edge of the Aeron also dug into the back of their thighs. They much prefer the Leap's cushioned seat, which they find more forgiving and comfortable. However, they do miss the Aeron's breathability, especially in warm weather. Overall, they're happier with the Leap despite the Aeron's premium reputation.
Pros
- More comfortable cushioned seat than Aeron
- No pressure points
- Better for long sitting sessions
Cons
- Less breathable than Aeron mesh
