Herman Miller Aeron review
The reviewer purchased a fully-loaded remastered Aeron with all the adjustment options and has been using it for about two years. While they acknowledge it's a well-made chair with excellent build quality, they feel somewhat disappointed relative to the high cost and extensive hype. The mesh seat is comfortable but not dramatically more so than other quality chairs they've tried. They found the adjustment options somewhat overwhelming and unnecessary, rarely using many of the features after the initial setup. The lumbar support works well but isn't revolutionary in their experience. They don't regret the purchase and still use it daily, but they're not convinced it offers substantially better value than chairs costing half as much. For them, it's a good chair but not the transformative experience many reviews suggested, leading to a mild sense of buyer's remorse.
