Steelcase Leap V2 review

This user initially felt similar between chairs at 6'1 and 230 lbs, and felt the chair period worked well for them. They found the chair pretty decent early on. However, they note that many from avery forum tried to go to the Leap V2 as they were in almost 6'1-6'3 and 150lbs range. Maybe that's because the Leap is soft and doesn't show the effect of whatever position they're in. They ultimately concluded that the Amia had similarities but felt the Amia with a 5-back 2 backrest had some fall-off, and the Leap felt like it took a week to set since it reclined a firm amount without movement.

Pros

  • Works well for users around 6'1 and 230 lbs
  • Pretty decent
  • Good recline capability

Cons

  • May be too soft for lighter users (150 lbs range)
  • Doesn't show effect of position clearly
  • Takes time to adjust/set properly
