Haworth Zody II review
The user purchased a refurbished Zody II about eight months ago and initially loved it, but after six months started experiencing hip pain that they attribute to the seat pan design. They find the seat edges too firm, creating pressure points on their thighs and hips during long sitting sessions. Despite adjusting the seat depth and trying different positions, the discomfort persists. The lumbar support works well for their lower back, and they appreciate the build quality, but the hip pain issue has become significant enough that they're considering switching to a different chair. They note that this seems to be a personal fit issue rather than a defect with the chair itself.
Pros
- Initially very comfortable
- Lumbar support works well for lower back
- Good build quality
Cons
- Seat edges too firm causing pressure points
- Causes hip pain after extended use
- Seat pan design creates discomfort on thighs and hips
- Adjustments don't resolve the pain issue
