Herman Miller Embody review
The reviewer strongly dislikes the Embody despite it being highly praised by others. Their main criticism is that the lower lumbar and upper back support are controlled by a single adjustment mechanism. When you crank it up to get support, it hugs your back and compresses you like a clamshell, which closes the spinal discs instead of opening them. This design is particularly problematic for people with back issues. While they acknowledged it has good build quality, they emphasized it doesn't feel as solid as the Aeron and is a terrible choice for anyone with back problems.
