This person switched from a Steelcase Gesture to a Herman Miller Cosm and found the Cosm to be superior for their needs. They appreciate that the Cosm has fewer adjustments but somehow feels more comfortable and supportive. The mesh back on the Cosm provides better breathability than the Gesture's upholstered back, which they found got warm during long sitting sessions. The Cosm's automatic tilt mechanism works better for them than the Gesture's adjustable settings, and they like that they don't have to think about adjustments. They found the Cosm's design more intuitive and better suited to their body.
