LiberNovo Omni review

After three weeks of use, the owner finally found the right setup for their Libernovo Omni SE, their first real ergonomic chair. Initially struggled with sit bones and lower back pain, then developed neck and shoulder discomfort. The breakthrough came from locking the chair upright and sitting far back with their butt against the lower backrest, then chasing the lumbar setting (which moved the headrest back at the same time). Once they moved the headrest back independently and readjusted the lumbar, everything clicked. Their back felt supported and they could float their lower back off the seat with minimal effort. The initial straightness felt weird and caused soreness in back and shoulders for a few days, but this felt more like their body adjusting than a chair problem. Final setup: elbows at 90 degrees, thighs at 90 degrees, shoulders relaxed, backrest tension loosened so it moves without feeling like it's throwing them backward. They acknowledge this is probably obvious to experienced ergonomic chair users, but it took them far too long to figure out, and they almost returned it.
