Steelcase Leap V2 review

User bought a used Steelcase Leap V2 that fits their body well and improves posture by discouraging slouching. They added foam padding and seat covers for comfort, plus a Lorell headrest attachment. Despite being nearly 20 years old, the chair works perfectly and they expect years more use.

Pros

  • Excellent spinal support and natural fit
  • Wide tilt range
  • Encourages good posture
  • Durable (still functional after ~20 years)
  • Affordable used purchase

Cons

  • Hard cushioning out of the box
  • No headrest included
  • Doesn't fit all body types
